Social Action and Development Assistance

"We know that peace and prosperity are not possible without allies that include not only governments and international organisations but also private business and civilian society" (Kofi Annan). In keeping with the declarations of the former Secretary General of the UN, SATEC has embarked upon the implementation of a support plan for the entities that do this kind of social work. The goal of this plan is to support the promotion and development of these types of initiatives with the business resources contributed by SATEC in order to make them more efficient and productive. We believe that through this type of cooperative effort and the contribution of our skills and capabilities, we can make a decisive difference in the success of many projects. Along these lines, we are:

• Contributing with our human and business resources to social action projects in collaborationwith non profit organisations in our area:  ISF (Chilhood without Borders) o ADIPO (Pozuelo Association of People with disabilities) among others.
• Setting up a modern volunteer programme to promote the individual participation of our professionals, who contribute their personal and professionals skills in a demonstration of solidarity. Not only does the company organise and sponsor these activities, but it also matches the staff's contributions with an equal quantity of resources.
• Using our international presence in third world countries to promote, facilitate and complete the work of these institutions using our business relations to promote this type of social action work in our industry.
