Avilés, May 9, 2024 – The independent technology multinational Grupo SATEC has signed an agreement with the Government Delegation against Gender-Based Violence of the Ministry of Equality to join the initiative “Companies for a Society Free of Gender-Based Violence.”

SATEC’s Commitment to the Eradication of Gender-Based Violence

Grupo SATEC already implemented a protection and support protocol for female employees who are victims of gender-based violence in 2019. Now, with the signing of the agreement, SATEC takes another step in its commitment to raise awareness and sensitize society about this serious issue.

“SATEC has already made progress in this regard, and the initiative aligns with both our corporate values and our business objective of “Working for the world we imagine.” Therefore, we decided to join the Ministry of Equality’s program to collaborate with the Government with the common goal of promoting social awareness for the eradication of violence against women in all its forms, within the framework of the State Pact Against Gender-Based Violence,” says María Matilde, Head of CSR at Grupo SATEC.
